Nationwide Piano Moving

Budapest–countryside and countryside–countryside moving

We work with nationwide coverage: we move from Budapest to the countryside, from the countryside to Budapest, and between two countryside addresses. Every job is done with insurance and professional securing.

Per-kilometre fee

• Outside Budapest, within Pest County: +6,000 HUF
• Outside Pest County: +250 HUF/km

The base prices for upright and grand pianos and the floor surcharges are the same as for moving in Budapest; you can find them on the piano moving prices page.

Scheduling

For trips to the countryside and jobs with several stops, we agree on the exact time in advance because of the route. We move instruments seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays.

How do we calculate the price of nationwide moving?

The base price is the same as in Budapest: upright piano from 39,000 HUF, grand piano from 59,000 HUF, with a per-floor surcharge. Distance is added to that: outside Budapest but within Pest County +6,000 HUF, outside Pest County +250 HUF/km. We always give the exact amount knowing the route and the site, so call us and we will give you a quote within minutes.

Which routes do we take?

• Budapest–countryside: the instrument moves from the capital to the countryside.
• Countryside–Budapest: we bring the instrument from the countryside to the capital.
• Countryside–countryside: between two countryside addresses, without touching Budapest.
• Multiple stops: if several instruments need to be moved, or there is an intermediate stop, we agree on the route in advance.

What to include in your quote request

• The pick-up and delivery town and address
• The instrument type (upright, grand, other)
• The number of floors at both addresses, and whether there is a lift
• The preferred date

Tuning after a longer trip

After a longer trip it is especially worth waiting a few weeks before tuning, so the instrument can adapt to its new environment.

Pest County and nearby towns

Towns around Budapest (Budaörs, Érd, Szentendre, Gödöllő and others) are charged a flat surcharge; details are on the piano moving in Pest County page. The full price list is available on the prices page.
